day sixty-nine - 6.27.09

more baking: after almost selling out on our first night, we returned to the kitchen saturday morning. colleen helped me make fudgacado.

day sixty-eight - 6.26.09

aki: on the first night of the bake sale we had a canine friend hang out with us for a while. aki's human family were in the theater next door watching a slide show, so we kept an eye on her for them. she only had three legs. she was super sweet.

day sixty-seven - 6.25.09

bake, bake, bake: in preparation for the vegan bake sale, a group of us got together to bake the goodies. we probably made almost 100 cupcakes over the course of the weekend (plus thursday).

day sixty-six - 6.24.09

nerd: for two days ben wore these glasses and meticulously combed his hair that way. he had a lot of fun and we did a short photo shoot.

day sixty-four - 6.22.09

impromptu dessert: half the brownies i mad last week have been sitting on my counter getting stale. i hate throwing out food. so what do i do? top them with cappuccino coconut bliss and fresh strawberries! yum.

day sixty-three - 6.21.09

lentil chili mole: colleen and i made dinner for the family on father's day. we were going to follow this recipe, but they didn't have any cumin in the house. we improvised and it turned out great! my step-dad paired it (wonderfully) with china bend's nouveau. yum.
