day twelve - 5.01.09
ART: this was the mark i got from going to the invitation only art show that was part of, but separate from, the first friday "stuff". i'm surprised the ink didn't melt away from all my sweating after dancing in my black polyester dress! milonga rocks!
Day 17: A little late
May 5, 2009: Feeling blue, I made Ian take me on a walk around the block. There, we passed by a house where Santa was still hanging on...
Day 15: Dogwood
May 3, 2009: Every other yard here has a dogwood here. They're beautiful. I'm going to have one when I buy a house.
Day 14: Local celebration
May 2, 2009: We went to Pasco to meet with the cake person, and there was a huge Cinco de Mayo festival going on with booths and Latin music and people going around selling food and people in traditional dress. Muy cool.
Day 13: Towering shades of blue
May 1, 2009: We went over to Kathy's to help her move patio furniture, and I became wildly distracted by her beautiful irises.
