cold salad: that what we've been calling this. we've eaten this salad a lot lately. tomatoes, cucumber and basil with olive oil and rice vinegar.

lunch: i always try to keep leftovers so i have lunch the next day. this was quinoa, garbanzo beans, tomato and basil with balsamic and olive oil. (the tomatoes and basil were in my produce box from fresh abundance.)

Day 83: Colorsplash
July 26, 2009: This is the new centerpiece that Ian and I bought today. I also bought an app for the iPhone called Colorsplash, where it allows you to make these grey pictures where you just highlight whatever object you want with color. So here you go: The colorsplashed coffee candle centerpiece.
Day 82: Baby Nevaeh
July 25, 2009: I went to Nevaeh's first birthday party today. As well as to my mom's, out to lunch with Carolyn, to my brother's, and met up with some of my youth kids. On my way home, I nearly ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere and barely made it to Sprague. I had a good day, but I was very glad to be home and go to bed.
Day 81: First iPhone picture!
July 24, 2009: I got my new iPhone today! This is the very first picture, taken in the parking lot of the AT&T store.
Day 80: Baby Morgan
July 23, 2009 (I missed a day): This is my boss's new baby, Morgan. I know you wouldn't necessarily know it by looking at her, but this baby is six days old.
Day 79: Squash blossom, v 3.0
July 21, 2009: I like this squash blossom picture even better, because of the huge green leaves around it.

July 20, 2009: This is my second squash blossom, because they only bloom for one day, and I missed the first one. Isn't it beautiful? Fingers crossed that it'll turn into a squash!

July 19, 2009 (I missed a day): This is really just a picture to take a picture. Meh.
Day 76: Nerd-fest
July 17, 2009 (I missed a day): I know I'm super-nerdy, but this just jazzed me. I threw the chocolate-fondue tablecloth into the little washer, and when it was done, it came out as a perfect round circle. It looked like a cookie to me.
Day 75: Wednesday night dinner version chocolate fondue
July 15, 2009 (I missed four days): April and Becky came over for dinner, and Becky brought her two kids, Connor and Haley. We barbecued for dinner, but for the special treat for the night, we did chocolate fondue. The kids especially had a great time!
Day 74: Bridal Shower
July 11, 2009 (I missed a week): My bridal shower at Kathy's house. It was, of course, one hell of an elegant party with fantastic food that Kathy self-deprecatingly barely took credit for. I had a wonderful time!
Day 73: First annual 4th of July barbecue!
July 4, 2009: Some of the chaos from having an invite-all barbecue in a one-bedroom apartment, especially with it being too hot to utilize any outdoor space. Nonetheless, it was a lot of fun. :)
